Creator of SANDY LANE bags...I have 20+ yrs experience in the arts and crafts; I was born to create! Pre-teen & teen years were spent developing apparel designs that lead to a college scholarship and acceptance to the Florida Fashion and Design Institute. But as life has it, LOVE got in the way, and instead of heading to Florida, I settled for a Business Admin and Fashion Merchandising degree from a local college, and a long and loving marriage. The love of my life may have rerouted my school plans, but never my creativity! I have owned a very successful custom window design business in the past, and developed a highly successful wholesale and retail polished glass jewelry business, known as CAST-A-WAY Jewelry. SANDY LANE BAGS, is the culmination of my true love of fabrics, design and functionality. Each bag fabric is hand picked, and hand crafted by myself for beauty and durability.

Sizing details

SANDY LANE totes are a straddle of hand carry/shoulder carry, and based on an "average" size individual.....

Shoulder carry ultimately depends on your upper arm and shoulder girth. I personally can wear as shoulder bag. It tucks neatly under my arm with a few inches of ease, and I am not a skinny arm girl (thanks maternal genetics!🙄, I am a size... let's say "Not smaller than a 14."

To determine if you can use as shoulder bag, measure from top of your shoulder where your bag strap normally rests, straight down your chest- If your arm pit is above the imaginary line drawn across from the 7" mark of the tape measure across to your side, you should be fine. The bag will rest just under your arm pit. Of course there are always exceptions.
